Since 2021, Mitchell staff and students have been working with a school focus of "Re-Connecting Through the Arts". With this focus, we have been using art as a vehicle for our school community to connect and re-connect with each other. Through numerous school events and activities, such as Carnival Celebration, Family Teams Activities, School Dance Performance, and Circus School, the Mitchell Community has had many opportunities to come together and celebrate and connect with each other. We have found that these shared experiences between students of different grade levels and classrooms, has helped to foster a great sense of togetherness amongst students. With the new Administrative team of Mme Carièrre and Mr. Narbett joining the Mitchell Community in September 2023, they will continue to work with staff and students to shape the school focus going forward.
