During October, many of our teachers worked hard to incorporate Math and Numeracy skills to their lessons about celebrations and special events. This is a way for students to understand that Math truly is all around us! Examples includ

• Exploring pumpkins through mathematical inquiries;
• Creating sequences and patterns using Fall nature elements;
• Exploring the impacts of residential schools through Math.
