During our monthly Family Teams activities, we are able to bring together diverse, cross-grade groupings of students to work on various projects. In this particular example, students worked together around the theme of building empathy by contributing to our "Empathy Tree". Big buddies and little buddies worked together to create their own hand tracings with words of empathy and encouragement.
