On January 17, Mitchell had the privilege of hosting the Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival. We had a fun day, discovering new Math games in the gym! Division 2 & 3 students were amazing leaders, supporting and guiding other classes through the stations. Every class in the school had the chance to enjoy a block of Math games. Staff also appreciated having the chance to learn new games to bring back to their own classes. We wish to thank the Julia Robinson foundation and their coordinator, Annette Rouleau, for giving our Mitchell community this incredible opportunity, and to Janice Novakowski for coordinating the first introductions.
